a rather interesting drink. it doesn't have caffeine (it does have green tea, so i guess you could say it has some. but not much.), but it has all the other usual ingredients. it also has cherry, pineapple, mango and orange juice in it; and Stevia leaf and Maca root. Stevia is basically a sugar substitute, it is supposed to be sweeter than sugar, take a little longer to have an effect and last longer. Maca has lots of healthy vitamins and stuff in it, and it is also an aphrodisiac. supposedly this drink has a faster effect than most, and lasts longer. but im not noticing anything, so while it might last longer and all that, it doesn't have much of a buzz. slightly more carbonation than most energy drinks and kind of a black cherry taste. worth trying, but it does taste different then most energy drinks.

the websites a little weird, i couldn't find any information on there energy drinks, so this is going to be kinda short. it is very sweet and juicy, with light carbonation and maybe some orange. usualamount of tuarine, but they also have 2500mgs of they're special energy blend. which is basicallycaffeine, guarana, l-carnitine and some other funky chemicals. and its 50% juice. worth trying, but might be too sweet for most.

Full Throttle's health drink. tastes sort of like 180 red because they both have acia berry, which adds the very distinctive flavor of bark and fern and earthy. i can't really describe it any better, so you will just have to try it for your self. its all natural and 40% juice though, so i can't be bad for you.

Tab Energy

this one is pretty unique. i got it because my mom used to be addicted to Tab, and i wanted to try it. it doesn't taste like much except sugar, it is even missing the classic chemical taste. not much to say about this one except that i think it is just another company trying to stay popular by producing a energy drink. which i thought was funny since it is made by Coca-Cola, and i don't think coke will ever lose popularity. very sweet, but unless you like Tab already i wouldn't recommend it.

this one is pretty cool. it comes in this bottle that looks like some sort of anti-freeze or something (you can also get it in a can) and has a chemical(of course)-acidic taste. almost a hint of smarties, too. no amazing ingredients, but it still tastes pretty good. and i appreciate the fact that it isn't another stupid Redbull rip off.

i like this one! its pretty sweet, kind of chemically-orange taste, but i like it for the buzz. its probably just me, but so far i think this one has the most kick to it. it has the usual 1000mgs of taurine, but it also has another 1000mgs of "energy blend", a mix of caffeine, glucose, inositol, glucuronolactone, and maltodextrin. i only know what two of those are, but they seem to have a nice effect on my body. i would definitely recommend this one.

a drink local to Denver, Colorado, this one is unique because it has flax seed extract and dark cherries; which give it a sweet cherrie grape flavor with a slight diet coke after taste. it also has very light carbonation and acia juice. if you are ever in Denver, i think it would defintly be worth trying this while your there.

a good drink, pretty sweet and chemicaly, but still worth trying. no more than basic ingredients but if your drinking it for the taste it won't matter. plus it has a cool lable.

this one is for you health nuts. its all about being organic and and not having chemicals and stuff like that. tastes kind of like some one took a sweet berry flavored drink and watered it down rather heavily. while its nice to have a change in style, i'm not sure if i like this one yet. it has green tea in it which i think is why it tastes so watered down. it also has yerba mate and acia in it.

a very good drink that i would recommend to anyone. well, almost anyone. anyway it has a sweeter, kind of a lime-chemical taste and a bit of a bite to it (hence the name). and it has the great advantage of coming in 24oz cans, supposedly three full servings. if you know anything about energy drinks, you will appreciate this one.

another one of archer farms drinks, this one is the same as the last with a slightly different taste. it has a cherry flavor, and also like the last it tastes healthy. not much else to say, other than i can't say i would recommend it.

this is one of those energy drinks produced by a company trying to stay popular by throwing some Caffeine and Taurine in one of their drinks and calling it an "energy drink". i don't really take these seriously but i might as well review it. it is fruity and has a more healthy taste to it than most energy drinks. not much buzz, but i wasn't too surprised.

i most say this ones rather boring. it tastes almost exactly like Full Throttle. unlike Full Throttle, though, this one is actually not that bad for you. but it is the sugar free version, so it isn't supposed to be.not much to say this one, but if you like Full Thottle you might like this one.

one of the more standard energy drinks, i can't say i like this one a ton. it has a chemically lime flavor and light carbonation that is common in most energy drinks, so its basically like all the rest. i most say though, if you like stereotypical drinks, this ones for you.

a pretty standard energy drink. tastes a bit like mountain dew on steroids, but with a little more lime. its got 1000mgs of Taurine and 320mgs of Caffeine, so it has some kick to it. like most energy drinks, it has a chemically taste to it, but despite all this i still like it a bunch.

Ok, this drink scares me. it says on the can that it has Skull Cap in it, which is either a very poisonous mushroom or a type of wild flower. i hope its the latter, but all it tells you is that they stuck the entire plant in it. while it has 100mgs of caffeine, it also has green tea leafs, Damiana (a plant used in some teas and reported to have aphrodisiac effects), licorice root, White Willow bark, Milk Thistle, Ashwaganda (an herb) and Horny Goat Weed. this last one is apparently another aphrodisiac. but other than the chemicals, its actually not that bad. it has a grape-pomegranate flavor and is lightly carbonated.

180 Red

Another drink in the 180 line, this one has a pinkish red color from Goji berry extract. As far as i can tell, Goji is a type of berry that grows in Tibet and is supposed to be very good for you. I'm not sure how much of this is correct, but it certainly is impressive. anyway, it has a nice cranberry-cherry flavor in it, and light carbonation that gives it a little bite. not much of a buzz, but if you like the other 180 products i would recommend this one.

My first thought when I opened this drink was 'my god, its purple!'. But despite it having the appearance of carbonated grape juice, it actually doesn't taste that bad. Its big thing is having Acai, a fruit that grows on a certain type of palm tree. It look slightly like a grape, and the juice is purple, which gives the drink its rather disturbing color. All in all, it tastes like a slightly fruitier version of the original 180 drink. If you liked the first you should definitely try this one.

Ah BooKoo, how I love it. Almost my favorite. Tastes nicely fruity, but then, this is the wild berry kind. the Bite flavor is more bitter, and the Citrus tastes terrible. I have found that one of the triple cans of BooKoo is enough to give me a pleasant buzz. One of the few drinks that can. Bit too sweet for me to drink it all the time though. and no carbonation, that kinda bugs me. i highly recommend it.

Holy mother of a pogo stick this stuff tastes like the bastard child of a papaya and a roll of sweettarts. I was planning to write it off as another redbull knock off but it doesn't even taste close. Bit too sweet and fruity for my tastes, but others may like it. It does have the chemical taste along with a slightly odd aftertaste. As usual, not much in the way of a buzz, only 80mg of caffeine. The Taurine is there though (1000mg), so combined this with coffee or something with a shit ton of caffeine and you may get better results.

This one reminds me a lot of redbull. Similar taste, though a bit sweeter and fruitier. Comes in a cool looking can. Not much in the way of a buzz, about the same as redbull. Not what I would go too if I needed to stay awake, though it does run cheaper then some of the other. Taste is also similar to BooKoo (review up soon). Not great, not too bad either. Pretty basic knock off, nothing new here.

A lightly carbonated orange-citrus flavored energy drink with a cool label. It has a unique flavor, kind of a carbonated range juice, which is always nice in an energy drink. their is no Caffeine in it, other than the stuff in Guarana (which it does have), so it is more of a low-impact drink.

yeah, this probably shouldn't exist. but it does, and in my constant curiosity I had to try them. They actually taste pretty good, almost like beef jerky. not much in the way of a buzz though. only 80mg of caffeine and 500mg of taurine in each bag. salty as all hell, but that is pretty standard for sunflower seeds.

I like the way Redux Beverages has handled this. However, I liked the name Cocaine and disagree with the FDA about banning it because of the allegations that it promoted drug use. Whats next? Ban the best coffee ever, Meth Coffee? And, yes, I will get a review of Meth Coffee up as soon as i can.

While not technically an energy drink, I figured that caffeine pills should be included in our reviews. NoDoze taste terrible, are hard to swallow, and don't seem to have much effect on me. it takes more then three (600mg of caffeine) for me to start feeling it and then all I get is a bit twitchy. But then, I have a high caffeine tolerance. Snorting them doesn't help them hit you any faster and makes your nose hurt. Not that I have tried this *cough*.

Red Bull

So I thought I'd start us off with the drink that got the whole energy drink craze going. Red Bull also happens to be the first energy drink I tried and remains today as my favorite. It is what I compare all the others too. Red Bull's taste is very light without too much sweetness. It does have a bit of the chemically taste you get in these drinks, but not nearly as much as some. Personally, I don't feel any effect from this drink, although that may just be the fact that it doesn't come in a huge can. Course, I would also drink this stuff by the 55 gallon drum if I could get it. So in short, tastes great, a constant stream will keep you up for a late night study session without too much jitters. My favorite.
